New Zealand’s racing history have many people and horses that have had a lasting impression on the industry through their deeds, exploits, or personalities.

While it is difficult to recognise all those that have gone before or are here today who have been major influences, the Hall of Fame seeks to identify and acknowledge those whose stories deserve recognition.

Each inductee selected has been a participant in the history of the New Zealand racing industry. They are some who were not perfect in character or without controversy. But no-one can deny the impact they have all had on an industry which owes as much to the diversity of its participants as to their dedication and striving for excellence.
